Antique Victorian Art Deco Egyptian Revival Ashtray with Matchbox Holder

A rare and stunning Egyptian Revival ashtray with an ornate 3-part ashtray with scrolls, flowers and leaves.The ashtray is made of a dark brown metal, possibly bronze, and the bottom was once painted gold. In the center a Pharaoh holding a scimitar, on which the colors are faded, guards both sides of the match safe. A truly unique and collectible piece. Don't smoke? Us it for trinkets or jewelry.
Approximately 6.5” long/wide and 4.25” tall.

This item came from the estate of a prominent Hollywood photographer.
