Antique Leather and Applied Cloth Baby Booties - Baby Shoes - Circa 1850s

A beautiful pair of leather shoes with applied material netting. They are laced with delicate laces with metal aglets. The leather was once cream with brown soles. They are a truly unique item that would be perfect as part of a nursery’s decor or showcased in a shadow box.

Approximately 3 ⅞” long, 2.5” tall and 1.75” wide.
The leather has cracked and peeled in places and there is a large tear on one of them (see pictures).
The tag from the previous owner’s purchase is still on the shoes (see pictures).

Most items in my shop are vintage and are not brand new and come from estate sales. The items may show minor age-related wear and/or minor flaws consistent with the date of manufacture (please be sure to check photos carefully as they are part of the description).
