1970s Primitive Studio Art Pottery Mugs with Stamped W - Signed M. W.

Pair of two primitive studio pottery brown mugs. Each has raised W stamps around the edges that are reminiscent of brands. They are sturdy and well made, but the handle is missing from one mug. It would make a lovely pen holder or vase. The pieces are functional and compliment your home decor whether MCM, farmhouse, country, rustic, primitive, or ????

Other pieces from this estate sale were dated from 1977-1980 and so these pieces were likely made during that time frame. The artist’s last name was Woody.

Each mug is approximately 5” tall and 3.25” wide.
