Vintage MCM 1960s Ada Lum-Style Chinese Twins Stuffed Cloth Dolls - Hong Kong

$23.06

These hard-stuffed Boy and Girl Cloth Dolls are made in the style designed and created by missionary Ada Lum. Handmade with attention to detail, they are perfect for collectors who appreciate the craftsmanship of dolls that have stood the test of time. The dolls are made from fine cotton with well made blue (boy) and pink with green trim (girl) clothing, black cotton yard hair and detailed embroidered faces.

The dolls are in their original bag which show they were made by the Christian and Missionary Alliance, Rennies’ Mill Camp, Hong Kong. The bags were sealed until I opened them for pictures.
There is faint discoloration on the faces that came with time.
Each is approximately 7.5-8” long.

These dolls came from an estate sale where the woman told me that her father had been in the service and brought them back dolls from the countries he visited. Please see my other listings for more vintage dolls.

Most items in my shop are vintage and are not brand new and come from estate sales. The items may show minor age-related wear and/or minor flaws consistent with the date of manufacture (please be sure to check photos carefully as they are part of the description). I do my best to describe any imperfections. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!
