1800s Rockford Quadruple Silver Plate Creamer with Underplate: Etched Floral Design

$56.61

This creamer is gorgeous and incorporates a spectrum of artistic styles and influences in its design: The top and handle feature repousse stylized flowers and leaves, while the paneled bottom shows etched floral designs. It is an interesting design where the spout is hidden inside the lid. The pin for the hinge went missing sometime in the past. The repousse stylized flowers and leaves are repeated on the rim of the underplate.

At 100+ years of age, it looks amazing, but is in need of a good polishing. There is so much beauty in this piece that shines through the imperfections introduced over the years. It would make a beautiful functional or accent piece in your home, whether your decor is shabby chic, farmhouse, country, romantic, rustic, or ????
