Antique Dover Sad Iron #602: Child's Toy Miniature Iron

This adorable miniature sad iron is a reminder that children always want to be ‘just like mommy’ or ‘just like daddy’ and have tools that fit into their little hands. It has a removal hood and on the sad iron is embossed ‘Dover Sad iron 602.” This antique iron would be a perfect gift for the collector, or compliment your home or nursery decor whether shabby chic, farmhouse, country, primitive, rustic, barn, cabin or ???? It would also look lovely in a shadow box or make an unusual paper weight.
Approximately 3.25” long, 1.5” wide and 2.5” tall
In good condition, but shows rust, minor wear/tear and patina commiserate with age.
