1950s MCM Footed Snowflake Footed Cake Plate | Farmhouse Table | Holiday Serveware

This cake plate has many descriptions online: snowflake, chevron, starburst.. And some say it was made by the Federal Glass Co (I haven’t been able to verify) and another showed it with a vintage aluminum dome cover. No matter the description, it is a beautiful piece that can be used to serve a cake, charcuterie board, plant stand, candle base, or even a cutting board. It is sure to compliment your home decor whether MCM, shabby chic, farmhouse, country, modern, cottagecore, or ????
11.25” wide.
One spot on the inner rim looks like a chip, but is so smooth and near an air bubble, that it may be an imperfection introduced during its manufacture. Other air bubbles in the piece are just fun!
