This antique metal wall-mounted comb case (otherwise known as a wall pocket), was common in the late 19th and earthly 20th centuries. It was used to hold (wait for it….) COMBS! It is in good shape and has just the right amount of patina/light rust to really give it some character. I found it with two brushes (they are vintage if not antique) and were likely clothes or shoe brushes. Perfect gift for the man in your life, a collector, or to compliment your home, bathroom or barber shop decor whether MCM, shabby chic, farmhouse, country, man cave, primitive, rustic, cabin or ????
Case is approximately 7 ⅛” wide, 5 ⅜” tall, and 3” deep
Brush 1 is 6 ⅝” wide and has an R inside a keystone.
Brush 2 is 6 ⅛” long and has BKH No. 211 stamped on it.
