1920s New Martinsville Shelf Divider/Support or Clear Trumpet Vase

$24.11

I picked up this piece because I knew it was old glass, however, when I researched it I was quite surprised to learn that it was used as a shelf support. It looks like a clear glass ribbed trumpet vase with its tall, slender stem and a wide, flared mouth and since it is sturdy it can be used as a vase or a support.

No chips or cracks, but imperfections introduced during its manufacture and lots of air bubbles that is often found in old glass.
Approximately 8 ⅞” tall and 3 ⅞” wide at the mouth.
Old glass contains Manganese dioxide (it will glow green with a 365nm UV light).
Please see my other listing for more Uranium Glass, Elegant Glass and Depression glass pieces.
