1920s Westmoreland No. 122 Bowl With Lots of Character

$15.73

eautiful glass bowl with buckle and English hobnail pattern that is reminiscent of cat eyes. It features a classic Americana style that is as relevant today as when it was manufactured. As to its character? There are many air bubbles trapped in the glass and some circular scratches that I think were introduced during its manufacture. There is also a groove at the top edge (see pictures) that I thought was a chip at first, but the edges are smooth and so I think it was introduced during its manufacture. The air bubbles and manganese in the glass make me think this was made in the earlier years of the pattern.

Approximately 6.25” wide and 2 ⅝” tall.
Some small chips in the base.

As a child, I loved going with my mama and grandparents to yard sales, estate sales, and thrift stores as we shared the love of sifting for treasures. That tradition has been continued into my adulthood and I am honored to share my unique finds with you.

Most items in my shop are vintage and are not brand new and come from estate sales. The items may show minor age-related wear and/or minor flaws consistent with the date of manufacture (please be sure to check photos carefully as they are part of the description). I do my best to describe any imperfections. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!

ETSY tries to calculate shipping when multiple items are purchased, but doesn’t always get it right. If you purchase more than 1 item, I will refund any overpaid postage when shipped. Thank you for looking.
