1939 New York World’s Fair Mr. Peanut Nut Bowl Set

A unique souvenir 5-piece bowl set for serving peanuts from the 1939 World’s Fair. The gold-tone bowls with ruffled edges feature peanuts printed on the inside with Mr. Peanut in the center. The largest bowl also features the Fair’s icons, the Trylon and Perisphere. The Perisphere was a tremendous sphere, 180 feet (55 m) in diameter, which housed the futuristic "Democracity" diorama. It connected to the 610-foot (190 m) spire-shaped Trylon by what was at the time the world's longest escalator.

There are scuffs and scrapes on the inside of the bowls. Two of the smaller ones are very scratched (see pictures) and set discounted accordingly.
Large bowl: Approximately 6” wide and 1.5” tall.
Small bowls: Approximately 3” wide and 0.75: tall
