Vintage Chalkware German Shepherd Ashtray | Unmarked Dog Carnival Prize

A Regal German Shepherd (could it be Rin Tin Tin?) sits guarding the ashtray. The piece is in browns and tans and the quality of the piece makes me thinking it is from the earlier part of the 20th century (1920s-1940s). It is possible that an ashtray sat in the hollowed out space, or perhaps the bowl itself was the ashtray (an ash mark can be seen in the space). Either way, the bowl could now be used for coins or jewelry. That paint is worn off in places, but that gives it the perfect vintage vibe. It is perfect gift for the man in your life, a collector, dog lover, or to compliment your home, decor whether MCM, shabby chic, farmhouse, country, man cave, primitive, rustic, cabin or ????.

No chips or cracks, but paint worn in places.
Approximately 8” tall, 5.5” wide, and 5.75” deep.
Scuffs/worn paint commiserate with age.
