1940s Rare Universal Cambridge Pottery Red Art Deco Disc Pitcher

$72.00

A beautiful RED pitcher with a classic mid century streamlined design that was made by a company that was only in business for 20 years (1934-1954). Unlike the similar Fiestaware pitcher, this one has a lid. Though a completely separate piece, the hinge-like design of the lid allows it to stay in play and yet be easily opened with the press of a thumb. This Universal Cambridge Pottery pitcher is as beautiful today as the day it was made and ready to grace your home and table, or use it for special occasions such as Valentines, Christmas, or Chinese Lunar New Year. It has a timelessness that will compliment your home decor, whether MCM, shabby chic, farmhouse, country, romantic, modern, bohemian, Art Deco, cottage core, or ????

There are some tiny dimples and a drip in the paint that were introduced during its manufacture.
No chips or cracks noted
Holds 6 cups
Approximately 6.75” tall, 7” from spout to handle, and 4” wide
Mark on bottom: Universal Cambridge O., Oven Proof, Made in USA
