1967 Inuit Carved Stone Otter Eating Fish - Lukasi Ukusirala Anauta carving

$203.36 $248.00

A beautiful carved stone piece of an otter holding a salmon by the artist Lukasi Ukusirala Anauta. This piece is the perfect gift for the collector of Inuit art or the lover of the outdoors. It will compliment your home decor whether MCM, farmhouse, country, cabin, man cave, rustic, or ????

The piece is approximately 6” tall, 6” long, and 2.25” wide.
Etched on the bottom, E9-1350, RM 1967, N36506
E9-1350 is the Inuit Disc Number assigned to Lukasi Ukusirala Anauta (b. 1912) from the Povungnituk / Puvirnituq settlement.
There are a couple of indentions on the back of the otter, but I think they are from the variations in the stone and not chips.
