Antique Footed Brass Tin Lined Cigar Box

This handmade piece, likely from the late 19th century Arts and Crafts movement, is an antique humidor, but similar items have been also listed as a tea caddy. Either way, it is a beautiful piece.
The wooden box is lined with tin on the inside and a repousse stamped pattern in the brass sheet on the outside. The box was painted around the edges with a reddish brown” by

History
Repoussé is a metalworking technique where a malleable metal is hammered from the reverse side to create a design in relief.
