Rare First Edition 1906 Northern Spain Painted and described by Edgar T.A. Wigram

This first edition travel book is a beautiful work of art with its richly designed gorgeous cloth cover and series of 75 color plate illustrations. It is a rare and unique gift for the lover of history, the traveler or bibliophile. I have several of these books available that seem to have come from the same family (based on the inscriptions).
Cover: hardback, orange-brown cloth lettered gilt in brown and blocked with a design based on the 'House of Shells' at Salamanca. Top edge gilt.
Folding map and 75 tissue guarded colour plates.
Back cover is coming loose. Some wear/tear on edges.
Inscription on first page: Mr. John W. Broad from Margaret Broad and Anna Broad, 1912, January 14th
