Rare First Edition 1908 Southern Spain Painted by Trevor Haddon, described by A. F. Calvert

This first edition travel book is a beautiful work of art with its richly designed gorgeous cloth cover and series of 75 color plate illustrations. It is a rare and unique gift for the lover of history, the traveler or bibliophile. I have several of these books available that seem to have come from the same family (based on the inscriptions).
Cover: Original burgundy cloth, lettered in gilt, with a Moorish design printed in orange and yellow. Top edge gilt. Seventy five colour plates under captioned tissue guards, plus map at rear.
Contents pages have come loose. Back cover is coming loose. Some wear/tear on edges.
Inscription on first page: Mr. John W. Broad from William, 1911
