1940s Cobalt Blue Saturn Teapot #258 | Red Wing Gypsy Trail

A beautiful cobalt blue Art Deco/Modernist teapot featuring a ‘Saturn’ planetary design motif. This Red Wing #258 was part of the popular 1940s Gypsy Trail line and features a distinctive ball-shaped design with a fin-shaped handle on the lid.

I love this little teapot, however, with its reflective shiny glaze, it was difficult to photograph!
Approximately 5.75” tall, 7.5” from spout to handle and 5.5” wide.
This are imperfections in the unglazed part of the lid, I am not sure if these are manufacturing imperfections or small chips.
There is a tiny spot that looks like a glaze chip on the bottom, however, it has smooth edges and I think it is a glazing imperfection
Parts of the lid are lighter blue as the glaze was not applied consistently.

Most items in my shop are vintage and are not brand new and come from estate sales.
