1940s Anne Shirley Composition Doll in Original Bridal Outfit | Effanbee Little Lady | As found

17-18" Effanbee Little Lady doll with a beautiful face and dressed in her original bridal/wedding gown and still part of her original box and original Effanbee gold heart tag. I don’t think this doll ever left her box but time has ravaged her and there is cracking all over the doll. There is also a small triangle shaped piece that has cracked off on the side of her neck (see pictures). However, I am hoping that a collector or some one that can restore her to her full beauty will give her a new home.

Composition doll is cracked over all of the pieces. Original mohair wig, fabulous amber brown eyes with full lashes, nicely done multi-stroke eyebrows, nail color is retained on the fingers. Chip of composition has come off neck and will be included in with the doll.
Doll head, body, arms and legs are all unattached.
She wears her original satin gown and veil. Some small holes in the veil netting. Faint pink in both elbow and wrists of the dress. Her socks and shoes appear to have never been removed.
I think this is considered the 18” doll, but I measured her at 17”
The box is in poor shape and has seen better days, is ripped, lid is missing. Approximately 18.5” x 11.25” x 4.5”
Circa 1940's.
