Vintage Dark Amethyst Reproduction of Pint GVIII-2 Starburst Historical Flask - 2 Available

Sunburst flasks are considered one of the oldest of the American “geometric” and “historical” flask groups and are generally attributed to the period of 1810 to the early 1830s. These VINTAGE REPRODUCTIONS of those sunburst flasks look to be made with two-piece molds and pontil scarred bases and are a dark amethyst color. I love the hundreds of tiny air bubbles trapped in the glass and other ‘imperfections’ introduced during the manufacturing process. Perfect for a collector, history lover, or a unique conversation piece to add to your home decor whether your style is Art Deco, Victorian, MCM, shabby chic, farmhouse, country, man cave, primitive, rustic, cottage core, nana chic or ????

Bottles are being sold individually.
No noted chips or cracks
Bottle #1 has an yellow/orangish discoloration spot on the interior near the bottom of the starburst. May come out with cleaning.
Bottom of Bottle #2 is uneven and it will rock. Discoloration in the inside corner was noted under the 365nm light. May come out with cleaning.

Each bottle weighs about 1 lb, 3 oz empty.
Sunburst is 4 ⅞” x 3”, 24 rays on each sunburst
Each bottle is approximately 8.25” tall by 4.25” wide and 2” deep and will hold a generous pint of liquid.
These bottles contain manganese and glow green under a 365nm light.
I have been unable to confirm the date of manufacture, two possibilities found during research have been the 1930s and the 1980s.
