1930s Sword-shaped Electric Neck Tie Iron - Non Working

Interesting neckwear presser that is shaped like a sword. The iron is light weight and could be used as a travel press.Perfect for the collector of interesting artifacts or to use as a conversation piece.

The iron blade part is scuffed, outside wire insulation shows fraying and so I assume it is no longer working.
Necktie iron is approximately 19 ⅝” long, with the blade part being 14 ⅛” long
I think the ironing blade is made of aluminum and the handle compressed wood.

Most items in my shop are vintage and are not brand new and come from estate sales.
