1920s Redlands Model Creamery One Quart Milk Bottle with Unusual Paper Lid

Rare 1920s milk bottle from Redlands, California, that has many of the hallmarks of older glass, e.g., trapped air bubbles, slight color of the glass, no manufacturer’s mark. It also has an unusual bottle cap “Before Marriage/After Marriage” that was likely added later. This milk bottle has lots of character and is perfect for the collector or someone that loves history. Or use it as an interesting home decor piece in your home, whether your style is shabby chic, farmhouse, country, man cave, bohemian, rustic, primitive or ????

Circa 1920s
No chips or cracks.
There is a slight iridescent sheen on the glass in certain angles.
Approximately 9.5” tall and 3.5” wide.
Embossed on front: One Quart, Model Creamery, Redlands
On bottom: MC
On heel: Triangle
I did not want to damage the bottle cap so the dust, etc., is still inside the bottle.
Model Creamery history:
Redlands, California: “114 & 116 East State St. (1903) was first occupied by the Edison Electric Company and the Live Oak Creamery. By 1919 the Model Creamery took over both spaces and the alley side of the building still has the creamery entrance.”
Model Creamery was in existence until after WWII when Arden Farms bought them out and moved to San Bernardino.
