1930-45 Josef Kuba 11” Charger with Fragonard’s “Love Story” courting scenes | JKW Décor Carlsbad

These chargers are truly works of art and feature courting scenes from Fragonard’s “Love Story” around the rim. One of the Love Story scenes is featured in the center of the plate so that there are 4 variations. The scenes are separated by gold gilt and gold moriage accents. Perfect to accent your home and table whether your taste is romantic, Victorian, cottage core, nana chic, shabby chic, or ?????

The porcelain decoration business was established in Czechoslovakia in the city of Karlsbad (Karlovy Vary) in 1930 by Josef Kuba. During the WWII country was occupied by Germans.
JKW Decor Carlsbad mark on the back dates these plates to 1930 - 1945.
