Haldeman Caliente Ivory Art Deco/Nouveau Elegant Dancing Woman Figurine #407 | California Pottery

$39.36 $48.00

A beautiful impressionist figure of a dancing woman with a dream-like quality to it. This ivory piece exemplifies the Art Nouveau art, which emphasized organic forms, flowing lines, and inspiration from nature. Figurines from this period often featured graceful, elongated figures. These collectible ceramic pieces are sought after by collectors for their aesthetic appeal and historical significance.

Thought this is an unmarked piece (those one can tell where labels once were on the bottom), but has the look and feel of MCM California, and likely is a Haldeman Caliente piece (based on similar marked pieces found on the internet), circa 1933-1953.
Approximately 7.25” tall, 5.5” wide and 1.5” deep.
No noted crazing, chips or cracks.
Minor scuffs/marks commensurate with age.
