1930s Art Deco Carved Wooden Desk Picture Frame

Wooden picture frames from this era often showcased the craftsmanship of the period, with carved details and elegant forms designed to complement the photographs they held. These frames were not merely functional but also served as decorative objects, embodying the sophisticated aesthetic of the Art Deco movement. Many were handcrafted, making them unique pieces sought after by collectors today.

Approximately 8” wide, 6 ⅜” tall, and 2.75” deep.
The piece of glass is 5 ⅜” by 3.75” Minor fleabites/nicks on the edge of the glass that is covered by the frame.
There is only the piece of glass and no backing for the picture frame.

This item came from the estate of a prominent Hollywood photographer.
