This is a famous THICK green glass hobbleskirt Christmas Coca-Cola bottle with a city name on the bottom. They were nicknamed Christmas Bottle because the patent was granted on December 25, 1923. This 6 oz. Coke bottle has some abrasions and patina and a small chip in the glass under the ‘Dec’ on the front (see pictures), but otherwise in great shape. Perfect for the collector of Coca Cola memorabilia, bottle collectors, or as a unique Christmas gift.
Christmas bottles were produced from 1923-1937. This one has the year stamp (37) by the Chattanooga Glass Co. logo.
Approximately 7.75” tall and 2.25” wide.

“In 1923, the patent for the bottle was renewed. It was the custom of the patent office to issues the patent on the Tuesday of each week. For the 1923 patent, that Tuesday just happened to fall on December 25!
