Chalkware-style Plaster Sheep Figurines- Set of Four | Antique European Style Christmas Nativity Figures

Set of 4 expertly handpainted sheep on green bases that were likely part of a nativity set. Their shapes and faces are reminiscent of antique European style figures, but I think they are vintage and not antique. Perfect addition to your Christmas creche or as home decor accent whether your style is MCM, shabby chic, farmhouse, country, romantic, cottage core, nana chic, rustic, primitive, or ????

Not noted chips or cracks on three of the pieces. The fourth ( sheep lying down) has chipped ears.
Standing sheep are approximately 2” long, 2” tall and ⅝” wide.
Resting sheep are approximately 2.25” long, 1.5” tall and 1” wide.
Likely from the mid 20th century.
