EAPG Goofus Glass Indiana Nursery Rhyme Toy Plates - Complete set of 4

$120.00

A truly rare find! This is a complete set of all four original Indiana Glass Nursery Rhyme Child’s plates (Little Bo-Peep, Hey! Diddle Diddle, This Little Pig Went to Market, and Teddy Bears) in Goofus Glass.…and who can say Goofus Glass without grinning? Dating to the early 1900s (likely 1904-1920s), these plates look AMAZING for their age. Perfect for the EAPG collector, or to add to your home or nursery decor, whether your style leans towards whimsical, Victorian, cottage core, nana chic, farmhouse, or ?????

No noted chips or cracks on the pieces (though there are a few air bubbles)
Gold enamel paint does show wear commensurate with age (see pictures), but overall is fairly intact.
Plates are 6 ⅜” wide.

From Wikipedia: Goofus glass is an American pressed glass from the late 19th and early 20th centuries decorated with cold, unfired enamel paint that easily flakes off over time
