Large EAPG 1910s Sweet Sixty-One Bridal Basket by Duncan and Miller

$70.00

This is a rare and rather unique Sweet Sixty-One basket. At 9” tall, it is larger than most that you find in this pattern and has turned a light lavender in color. It is made even more unique by the Art Deco gold gilt and blue enamel accents to the basket. Perfect for the collector or to use as an accent piece in your home or kitchen whether your style is shabby chic, farmhouse, country, romantic, Victorian, bohemian, rustic, cottage core, nana chic or ????

9” tall, 6” wide and 3 ⅛” side (excluding the handle)
Pat’d embossed on inside
No noted chips or cracks
Blue enamel and gold gilt show wear and tear, glass has scuffs and patina commensurate with age (please see pictures for details).
Likely from the 1910s-1920s
The lavender color is because this older glass was made with manganese dioxide and exposed to sun over the years. This turned it a pale lavender.
