Tinplate cookie cutters were often crafted by tinsmiths and specialized manufacturing companies in the US and Germany. They were produced in the late 19th and early 20th centuries to meet the growing popularity of themed parties, social card clubs and home baking. Homemakers and bakers used these cutters in domestic kitchens to shape cookies, biscuits, and small pastries for social gatherings.
This is a set of 3 cookie cutters - heart, spade and club.
